TRACE has established, and part funded, a new initiative to assist in widlife crime prosecutions. The forensic analysis fund is a some of money donated by four organisations: TRACE, RSPB, WWF and DEFRA which is used to part-fund any forensic technique used by the police or customs for a wildlife prosecution. The fund will encourage the use of forensic investigations and hopefully have a deterent effect.
